What every commercial listing page needs
A listing page has one job: give a serious buyer or tenant enough to take the next step. Most pages stop at a photo and a phone number. These six pieces make the difference.
1. A clear status
Available, under contract or sold, shown at the top. Buyers skip pages that leave them guessing, and an out-of-date status costs you credibility on every other listing.
2. The specs people filter by
Property type, size, lot size, zoning, price or lease rate. Put them in the same place on every page so people can compare quickly.
3. Real photos and a map
Exterior, interior and aerial if you have it, plus a map that shows the site in context with nearby roads and anchors.
4. Area demographics
Population, household income and traffic counts within a few rings of the property. This is often the first thing a retail or office tenant asks for.
5. Downloadable materials
The brochure as a PDF anyone can download, and the offering memorandum behind a short request form so you know who is reading it.
6. A way to raise a hand
An inquiry form on the page itself, and a “notify me about similar properties” sign-up for buyers who aren’t ready yet. Both feed your list, and both tell you what people are looking for.
